Road closures announced ahead of the Streets of Kilkenny 5K

Access to Kilkenny City Centre will be restricted from 6.30pm on Thursday evening

The Streets of Kilkenny 5k Race will be take place on Thursday, March 28 and Kilkenny County Council have announced there will be a number of road closures in place, with access to the city centre restricted between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

The route will start on The Parade, High Street, Parliament Street, Irishtown, over St Francis Bridge, CAS Link Road, Castlecomer New Road to Hebron Road Roundabout, John Street to Rose Inn Street and finish at The Parade.

The city bus service will not service the route of race between 7pm and 8.30pm to facilitate the event.

Kilkenny County Council have advised road users to expect delays and requested members of the public respect the stewards and observe the diversionary signs.
