Works are continuing apace at the North Quays site on the Kilkenny side of the River Suir.

Traffic management has been in place on the Dock Road since June 26 and will remain in place until 2024.

The construction of a satellite compound at the South Plaza is now also substantially completed.

Site clearance is circa 25% completed and site fencing and hoarding erection is continuing.

The construction of a temporary piling platform at the Transport Hub has also commenced.

A revised programme is now in place for the works at Ferrybank Pump Station.

The handover date is now January 4, 2024 instead of November 24, 2023.

This delay was caused by the necessity to align the electrical work fit out with the completion date of the building.

Over the next three months, it is expected that cofferdams will be laid in the Suir for the planned new bridge to Waterford City and works will progress further at the South Plaza and Transport Hub.
