BREAKING: Two major roads closed to traffic in Kilkenny
Kilkenny County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused
Kilkenny County Council have announced details of two major road closures.
The local authority has advised that the Eastbound lane on the R723 at Glenmore Roundabout / N25 Bypass to New Ross will be closed to traffic from 7am to 7pm today (Thursday), to facilitate resurfacing works.
Diversions will be in place, and local access will be facilitated. The Westbound lane R723 from New Ross to Glenmore Roundabout will remain open.
Meanwhile, a temporary road closure will be in operation on Dunningstown Road (L2600), from Granges Road to the junction with the CBC Link Road. Works are to be carried out between the hours of 8am to 6.30pm on Friday, May 29 and Tuesday, June 2.
Diversions will be in place, and local access will be facilitated as far as practicable.
