Cushendale Mills and its showroom in Graignamanagh is celebrating after recently being added to The Best Shops 2023 in Ireland by The Gloss Magazine and The Shopkeepers.
"What a proud day for the whole team at the mill this week when we were included as 1 of 6 noteworthy additions to The Best Shops 2023 in Ireland by The Gloss Magazine and The Shopkeepers," they said in a statement.
"We love to welcome people to our mill showroom, where we have a selection of Irish makers as well as our own work.
"We always have time for a chat, sharing our town and mills history and how we craft our unique Cushendale textiles today."
A woollen mill has operated on their site in Graignamanagh since 1204 when Cistercian monks, alongside Anglo-Norman knight William Marshall, founded an abbey in the area.
Six generations of the Cushen family have been crafting exceptional textiles since the 1700s and nowadays Philip and his daughter Miriam continue their incredible story.
