John Hurley has been elected as a Director on the Board of Chambers Ireland

CEO of Kilkenny organisation lands top national role

CEO of Kilkenny Chamber John Hurley has been elected as a Director on the Board of Chambers Ireland representing Kilkenny’s interest at the top level.

He got the nod at the Annual General Meeting of Chambers Ireland.

Mr Hurley, originally from Kerry, first arrived in Kilkenny in April 1987 to take up a role with the Hibernian Insurance Co.

"Our affiliation with Chambers Ireland gives Kilkenny Chamber influence at a national level on key decisions affecting the business dynamic countrywide," Mr Hurley said.

"I am delighted to have been elected to their Board and I look forward to engaging robustly in the role and ensuring that the voice of Kilkenny and the wider South East Region is heard in the excellent work of Chambers Ireland during my tenure."
