International TEDx speaker launches Network Ireland Kilkenny's 2025 programme

Network Ireland Kilkenny welcomed personal development coach and international TEDx speaker Nicola Connolly-Byrne to ignite its 2025 programme and charge a packed Rothe House, the venue for its January event, with unwavering confidence.

'Embracing the BRAVE in You' was the theme for the workshop as part of the three pillars set out by the newly-appointed Network Ireland Kilkenny President, Cáit Mackey Maher of Yellow Deer Designs.

"Stepping into the role of President, my focus is on three guiding pillars - being braver, nurturing, and inclusion. Tonight is a celebration of these values—a chance to grow together and connect in ways that truly matter," saiod Ms Mackey.

"We are honoured to have the brilliant, empowering, and inspiring Nicola Connolly-Byrne to join us tonight. But tonight is not just about inspiration; it's about action. Nicola will guide us not with vague ideas but with actionable steps—to take brave, intentional moves toward the lives and careers we want."

Network Ireland is a voluntary-led business networking group with branches across Ireland supporting women's professional and personal development in business and employment. It hosts regular monthly events and offers networking, mentoring and advice, plus a social outlet and access to a national award scheme.

Network Ireland Kilkenny doubled its membership in 2024 and now supports over 75 businesses across the county. The organisation is set to imbue its members with tools and opportunities to thrive throughout 2025 and beyond.

"Bravery isn't a solo journey—it thrives in community," said President Cáit Mackey Maher. "Joining this network has been one of the smartest and bravest moves I've made. It has encouraged me, challenged me, and shown me that other worlds are possible."
