Multi award-winning Pembroke Hotel Kilkenny has been ranked inside the top ten of Tripadvisor's top 25 Irish hotels for 2025.

The Kilkenny City hotel takes the number nine spot. It recently opened an entirely new floor of luxury suites following a two-year building project and an investment of €3 million.

All suites on the new luxury floor feature panoramic views of the city and its many landmarks, including St Canice’s Cathedral, the Tholsel, Kilkenny Castle and the surrounding countryside.

"We’ve been recognised consistently over the years, but being ranked in the top 10 hotels in Ireland, alongside mostly five-star properties, is a major milestone for us," said the Pembroke Hotel's John Ryan. "We were also awarded Tripadvisor’s ‘Best of the Best,’ placing us in the top 1% of hotels globally, out of more than 1.6 million listings."
