Iconic Kilkenny business agree high-profile appointment to senior role

The Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny have confirmed the appointment of Phillip Kelly as the hotel's new Sales and Marketing Manager.

Mr Kelly has previously carried out similar roles in a new number of national settings including; Secret Escapes, and Waterford Castle Hotel & Golf Resort and holds a Master’s in Business with a focus on International Business from Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) and a Degree in Digital Marketing from Dublin Business School.

"With over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Philip brings an energetic, creative, and outcome-driven approach to his role. Philip’s extensive career spans a range of respected brands," a spokesperson for the Newpark Hotel said.

"His portfolio includes high-profile achievements such as the launch of voco Belfast, Ireland’s first voco-branded hotel by IHG, Ember Kilkenny and The Springfield Hotel in Leixlip, along with spearheading strategic campaigns across a portfolio of hotels under Cliste Hospitality.

"His commercial background includes a successful tenure as Commercial Manager at Secret Escapes, where he delivered sales strategies that significantly expanded the client base," they added.

"Philip is known for his leadership, strategic mindset, and ability to inspire those around him," the hotel continued.
