Kilkenny businesses are reminding the public to 'shop local' this autumn and winter

Kilkenny business looks set to close down after difficult period for city street

Another Kilkenny business appears to be preparing to shut its doors after erecting 'Closing Down Sale' signs on their shopfront.

Mimi Boutique on Kieran Street, is the latest city centre business to put up such signage after Sally West erected large posters in March announcing the store was closing down, and holding a 'closing down sale' as a result. Those signs have subsequently been removed.

No end or date of closure has been put forward by either store.
