The Glaxo Smith Kline Operation in Dungarvan Co. Waterford has been selected to represent Ireland at the European Business Environment Awards later this year.
It follows from the Company's success in winning the IBEC Environment Awards last weekend.
GSK won the Award after creating a special map to monitor and reduce carbon emissions.
Kevin Meehan, who is Engineering Director with GSK, says the Operation was rewarded for the way it reduced its carbon output in the Dungarvan area.
