KILKENNY Chamber has named a leading line up of guest speakers for their upcoing Business Coference and Seminar at the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel on October 9.
The free event is timed to facilitate local business people with a 5.30pm start and a 9pm conclusion. The line up shows a varied mix of thought - from farming to the financial sector to training and development at third level.
Among the guest speakers are CEO of Chambers Ireland Ian Talbot, who previously as a director with Citigroup and JP Morgan Chase.
Also speaking will be David Fitzsimons, CEO of Retail Excellence Ireland - no stranger to the airwaves in fighting the battle for retailers.
Also speaking will be two key local business men - IFA Preisdent and Kilkenny man John Bryan, a former garda who farms extensively on his holding in INistioge and; local business man William Slattery of Strate Street Corporation, who heads up Global Services business in Ireland, Luxembourg and the Channell Islands. William has a wealth of experience in the fnance sector having worked for the central bank for 23 years.
The final speaker is WIT President Dr Ruaidhri Neavyn, who was previously President of Carlow IT, holder of a PhD in Physical Chemistry from UCD. Kilkenny Chamber also encourages those businesses who wish to promote awareness of their business at this FREE event by way of taking an Expo Stand.
