KILKENNY entrepreneurs and Small Medium Enterprises are being invited to attend a free marketing seminar entitled ‘Better Marketing for Business’.
The event which takes place in Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre on Tuesday (February 5) at 6pm is part of a series of roadshows which will also travel to Cork, Galway, Dublin, Belfast and Derry as part of the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards Programme. The Business Achievers Live seminars, chaired by Fionan Murray and Ron Immink of SmallBusinessCan.com, will feature an informal panel discussion with a panel of marketing experts, a questions and answers session, networking opportunities, and the chance to engage with former Ulster Bank Business Achievers and marketing specialists.
The Business Achievers Live Roadshow panelists will include Debbie McDonnell, The Marketing Shop and Tony Byrne, Product2Market. Topics that will be covered in the seminars include: the marketing vs sales debate; social and digital marketing - what works and what doesn’t; networking; and the use of Public Relations .

The aim of this seminar is to give people the knowledge and the confidence to grow their business using these tools. The Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards which are run in association with the Irish Independent, Enterprise Ireland, InterTradeIreland and SmallBusinessCan, are now in their 19th year and are open to all Irish SMEs, north and south of the border. Entries will close on February 28.
