Fun run in Callan in aid of Oscar’s Kids cancer charity

Callan secondary school students are putting on their running shoes to raise funds for a good cause.

Fifth year LCVP students at Coláiste Abhainn Rí, along with their teachers, are gearing up to take part in a fun run in aid of the charity Oscar’s Kids.

Oscar’s Kids is a childhood cancer charity helping children and their families. Oscar’s Kids was created in honour of an incredible little boy called Oscar who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in January 2018 and passed away in July 2019.

The fun run is planned for this Friday, (October 27) at the school, and will take place from 11.20am to 1.20pm.
The school community is hoping to raise as much money as possible so please support their worthy cause.
