A swarm of bees took local ATM users by surprise in recent days, as they gathered outside the Callan branch of St Canice's Credit Union.
"We tried to tell them that there were gorgeous pollinator friendly flower baskets in Piltown but they just wouldn't budge," the Co Kilkenny based credit union posted to social media.

"Marguerite had to call for back up and John and Shane kindly collected the bees and brought them away safely. We couldn't BEE more grateful," they jokingly added.
