A main thoroughfare in a Kilkenny town is to be closed for roadworks from tomorrow (Monday).
Kilkenny County Council have advised that West Street in Callan (the L1020) will be closed to all traffic from its junction with Chapel Lane (L1021) to The Cross with Green Street (R692) and Mill Street (R699).
The road will be closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (July 28 to 30) from 6.30pm to 6.30am each day to facilitate roadworks.
Entrance to the Aldi supermarket will be facilitated during store opening hours.
Local diversions shall be in operation and signposted.
This work is weather dependent. Kilkenny County Council appreciates your co-operation and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
