Artist Sinéad Fahey recently unveiled The Fence Project at KCAT Arts Centre in Callan in the company of her family, many guests and KCAT studio members.

She completed The Fence Project over 14 months working with studio facilitator Maurice Caplice.

The  fence, located at the back of the arts centre, is now filled with striking colourful images and bright bold colours. It was stated at The Fence Project’s launch, that Sinead’s work has made that part of the arts centre a more colourful and happy place and will hopefully last for years and years to come.

Sinéad has been a member of  the KCAT Arts Centre studio for more than 16 years and has showcased her work in many exhibitions in Ireland and internationally including America, Japan, Australia and around Europe.

Her art is an explosion of colour depicting nature, animals and people coexisting in a bright vibrant world.  Each piece has  an unique pattern which unfolds its own storyline within the painting.

Sinéad is a gifted artist who has also created some amazing mosaics, which take pride of place at the studio and in local business premises. All enjoyed The Fence Project launch  at KCAT and Sinéad thanked everyone for attending. She treated guests to a viewing of her wonderful art collection and works in progress  at the studio.
