Historic times ahead for County Kilkenny town as they mark significant 25th anniversary

With the 25th anniversary of the signing of the twinning charter in Penvénan in May, attention now turns to planning for the 25th anniversary of signing the Twinning Charter in Castlecomer in May 2026.

This weekend the group will have a Stand outside Eurospar to celebrate Bastille Day, where people can try French food samples.

NOMINATE! The search is on for Kilkenny's best beer garden...

Each year the Penvénan Twinning Committee sends French crepes and caramel - call to the stand and try these crepes, French cheeses, jams and baguettes free of charge.
