All are welcome to Lyrath Estate for a sparkly start to the Christmas season in Kilkenny

Welcome the festive season at Lyrath Estate on Monday, November 27, as the gorgeous hotel Christmas tree will be turned on by some special guests – the team behind Aoibheann’s Pink Tie and World Class Jockey Rachel Blackmore.

Kilkenny’s elegant and stylish 5-star, Lyrath Estate invites guests to join them to get into the Christmas spirit with their community, enjoying warm mince pies, mulled wine and hot chocolate while listening to Christmas carols by Kilkenny’s Gospel Choir.

At 5.30pm on Monday, November 27, the wonderful team behind Aoibheann’s Pink Tie will be joined by World Class Jockey Rachel Blackmore to do the honours in lighting up the beginning of the festive season by turning on the Christmas lights.

Glowing with traditional elegance, warmth and luxury, and the meeting point of choice for friends, family and colleagues in the exciting and fun-filled lead up to Christmas, make plans to enjoy lunch by the fire in Tupper’s Bar, savour decadent festive afternoon tea in the original drawing rooms of the manor house, respectively restored with an eclectic style in honour of the adventurous former estate owner Lady Charlotte, or indulge in seasonal cocktails and dinner in The Grill & Bar all at Lyrath Estate this festive season.

With a 17th-century manor house at its heart, Lyrath Estate is a charming country house to enjoy making festive memories this Christmas season.

Join the Lyrath Estate family on Monday, November 27 at 5pm, for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5.30pm.

Donations welcome on the day for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie charity.
