Kilkenny Design Centre (pictured above) has hosted a lot of craft events in the city over the years but the new pop-up shop will be based on John's Street
The Made in Kilkenny pop-up shop is now open on John’s Street.
The unique annual pop-up, which will be open from 10am to 6pm daily until Christmas Eve, is selling a selection of quality handmade crafts by local Kilkenny makers including Catherine Conroy, Jerpoint Glass Eric Phillips, Baurnafea Studio, Rosemarie Durr Pottery, Made by Doireann, Moth to a Flame Candles, Eoghan Leadbetter, Aisling McElwain Ceramics and Jars of Clay Ceramics.
This year more than ever it is vital to support local makers and craftspeople, so get along to John Street to choose a truly unique Kilkenny gift for your nearest and dearest.
Made in Kilkenny was formed in early 2009, and was set up to foster excellence in crafts in County Kilkenny, to encourage the growth of the professional craft industry and to promote Kilkenny as a shopping destination for authentic, handmade craft.
