Gardaí are investigating a report of a break in to a car in The Weir overnight between Wednesday and Thursday last week.
Between 11.40pm and 7.15am the Chrysler jeep was entered and cash and vouchers were taken.
A second car was entered in The Park, Weirview during the same time period, a small amount of cash was taken.
Gardaí are asking anyone who noticed anything suspicious to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.
