Kilkenny Courthouse
A teenager who is charged with assault and robbery offences has appeared before Kilkenny District Court.
The young person, who can not be identified for legal reasons, appeared via video link.
He is charged with offences which occurred in April and July 2022, and with three offences dating from April 2023.
The three recent charges include assault causing harm and robbery. All the offences are alleged to have occurred in Kilkenny City.
The young man was remanded to appear again before Kilkenny District Court, via video link, on May 9, for DPP directions.
Judge Geraldine Carthy requested the file be expedited as the person involved is a juvenile.
