A house was ransacked and substantial damage was caused during a burglary in North Kilkenny.
Gardaí are appealing for information following the incident which took place in the Old Road area of Moneenroe, Castlecomer on November 7.
The homeowners returned at 7.50pm to discover glass smashed in the rear door along with a rear bedroom window also smashed.
They also noticed that the lights had been turned on in the house.
The burglary happened between 1.15pm and 7.50pm.
The house was ransacked, with a substantial amount of damage caused.
