Blood left at scene of shop burglary in Kilkenny

At approximately 11.40pm on Sunday (November 12), a shop premises at James Green, Kilkenny was the subject of a burglary.

That's according to local gardaí, who state that a witness reported hearing a loud bang at this time and observed seeing a glass pane smashed in the lower door to the property.

The witness further observed a male in a long dark jacket and wearing a flat cap leaving through the door of the property.

Gardaí attended the scene and on inspection of the property noted blood spatters near the till area.

It doesn’t appear as if anything was stolen from the property.

Gardaí in Kilkenny are seeking anybody who might have been in the vicinity of James Green between 11.40pm – 11.50pm on Sunday (November 12) to contact them.

They are also seeking to speak to any motorist in the area who might have dashcam footage.
