Gardaí recently took to social media to share the news that the Kilkenny Roads Policing unit now has the assistance of the new mobility app for insurance.
On Saturday, they stopped a vehicle (pictured above) in Kilkenny.
"After checking the vehicle with the insurance app it was found that the driver was driving without insurance," a garda spokesperson said.
"Vehicle seized and court proceedings to follow.
"With the new insurance app, if you're chancing it, Ya Betta Watch Out."
