The truck was stopped by gardaí this morning
A truck overloaded by ten tonnes was stopped by gardaí on patrol in North Kilkenny this morning.
The Roads Policing Unit were patrolling the Johnstown and Urlingford area of North Kilkenny.
Gardaí stopped a 4 axle HGV that was overloaded by 10 tonnes and the driver not wearing a seat belt.
A prosecution is expected following the incident.
