Gardaí in Kilkenny are investigating an incident of anti-social behavior that occurred in Knocktopher on Thursday, January 9, between 9.45pm and 10pm.

A white Ford Focus was seen entering Whitescastle estate before turning and leaving the area.

As the car departed, a rear passenger threw an object in the direction of houses.

A homeowner later discovered that eggs had been thrown at their front sitting room window.

While this may seem like a prank, gardaí warn that such acts are a severe nuisance to homeowners and can cause property damage when aimed at houses or vehicles.

Anyone who noticed a white Ford Focus in the Knocktopher or Ballyhale areas on Thursday night is asked to contact gardaí.
