Gardaí are appealing to the public for information (File Photo)
Gardaí are continuing to investigate an incident of theft that occurred recently in Castlecomer, County Kilkenny.
The injured party in this incident reported that while using an internal ATM, she had left her purse beside the machine at approximately 3.30pm on Friday last.
When the female returned to collect her purse, she found that the purse was missing.

The purse which is described as being rectangular in shape is predominantly black with white and beige markings.
The purse was later recovered by gardaí having been handed into EuroSpar, The Square, Castlecomer.
Unfortunately the contents of the purse including €100 in cash were found to be missing.
Anyone with any information is asked to make contact with gardaí in Castlecomer.
