Gardaí in Callan in County Kilkenny are investigating a criminal damage incident in the Westcourt area of the town.
In this instance, a polytunnel was damaged by fire.
The incident occurred sometime between 9.45am on Sunday (March 30) and 10am the following morning (March 31).

It is believed that the fire ignited from can of petrol which had been left inside the polytunnel.
Gardaí in Callan are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV, dashcam etc to be made available to them and/or to contact them on 056 7706630.
