Woman arrested after suspected stabbing incident in North Kilkenny town

A garda presence remains at the house in the North Kilkenny town today

A woman in her 40s has been arrested after a suspected stabbing incident in Freshford.

The incident took place last night, and the victim - a man - was taken to St Luke's Hospital by ambulance. It's believed his injuries are not life threatening.

The woman is being questioned by detectives in Kilkenny Garda Station.

A garda presence remains at the house in the North Kilkenny town today.
