An Garda Síochana in Kilkenny were left with no choice but to arrest a drug driver who was guilty of committing several offences when approached at a checkpoint.
"We don't know WATT came over the driver but further checks revealed no NCT, No Insurance, No Tax (expired 1313 days) and No Driving licence," Kilkenny gardaí posted to social media.
"Things deteriorated further when an oral swab came back positive for another kind of Leaf, Cannabis!!
"Arrest followed, car gone and the only Electric will be in our driver's dreams," the post concluded.
