BEWARE: Garda impersonators reported in Kilkenny
Gardaí have issued a warning to local people about garda impersonators in Kilkenny.
The latest incident occurred in Knocknadogue in the Castlecomer area on November 24.
Nothing was taken in the incident however gardaí are appealing for anybody with information to get in touch.
In this latest incident, there were two impersonators involved and they wore facemasks and travelled in a silver car.
Gardaí have warned local people to be cautious, ask for official garda ID and if you're still unsure to contact the local garda station before giving anybody entry to your property.
