Drug driver arrested in Kilkenny had no licence, insurance, NCT or tax

Drug driver stopped in Kilkenny had no license, NCT or tax

A motorist driving under the influence of drugs with no driver's licence, insurance policy, NCT or tax was stopped at a Kilkenny garda checkpoint on Saturday night.

Members of Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit revealed that the driver 'failed an oral fluid test' that came back positive for cannabis.

"The vehicle was seized and driver arrested for drug driving," local gardaí confirmed.

"A bad night all round for this motorist," they added.
