The death has occurred of Aoife Corr, Stephen Street, Kilkenny and "Cuts n Curls", High Street, on 10th May 2023, peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Predeceased by her parents Ellen and Paddy Corr, sadly missed by her sisters Deirdre and Gillian, brothers John, Patrick and Andrew, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, extended family, great neighbours and her many good and loyal friends.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Sunday (14th May) from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am in St. Mary's Cathedral. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. The Requiem mass will be live streamed at https://www.stmaryscathedral.ie/webcam/
Timothy (Tim) Kennedy
The death has occurred of Timothy (Tim) Kennedy, 2 Maidenhill, Kells Road, Kilkenny and formerly of Athnid, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, on 9th May 2023, unexpectedly. Beloved husband of Joan and much loved father of John and Niamh, sadly missed by his heartbroken wife and family, brothers Michael and Pat, sisters Mary, Joan and Anne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home on Friday (12th May) from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil prayers at 7pm. House private at all other times please. Requiem Mass on Saturday afternoon at 2pm in St. Patrick's Church, Kilkenny (R95 VX96). A private cremation will take place on Monday. Joe Walton
The death has occurred of Joe Walton, 73 Dean Cavanagh Place, Kilkenny),on 11th May 2023, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, beloved husband of Anna and much loved father of Simon and Claire (Phillips), sadly missed by his wife and family, son-in-law Roy, daughter-in-law Margaret (Crotty), grandchildren Ciara, Rory and Luke, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Friday (12th May) from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12 noon in St. Mary's Cathedral. Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery. House private please. Mary (Má) Colclough (née Clancy)
The death has occurred of Mary (Má) Colclough (née Clancy), Bohergloss, Freshford, Kilkenny / Johnstown, Kilkenny. Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Martin, Charlie, Anthony, Stephen, Vincent , Joe, Robert, Oliver, daughters Mary and Majella, their father Bobby, grandchildren, daughters-in-law, Majella's partner Johnny Daly nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home (R95 C44T) on Thursday from 6p.m. with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7.30p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday in St. Lachtains Church at 11a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Lachtain's Cemetery. John Dunne
The death has occurred of John Dunne, Ballycloven, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of St. Teresa’s Terrace, Kilkenny City, who died peacefully on Tuesday, 9th May 2023, in the excellent care of the Oak and Cherry Wards, University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by his devoted and loving family. Predeceased by his parents, Kathleen and Johnny, his beloved daughters Marie and Thérese, his sister Mary Dalessandro and brother-in-law Michael. John will be forever missed by his loving wife Anne (née Slattery) his sons Paul and Gavin. Deeply regretted by his daughters-in-law Kirsty and Colleen, his adored grandchildren Luella, Jane, John, Ellie and Laura, his sisters Ann and Catherine, brothers Joe and Jimmy, his sister-in-law Ber, his brothers-in-law Pat, John and David, his nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his home on Friday, 12th May 2023, from 5pm, concluding with rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday (13th May) at 11am in St. Molua’s Church, Killaloe, Co. Kilkenny followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Ballykeeffe. Family flowers only please, donations, in lieu, to The Oak Ward, University Hospital Waterford. Donation box in house and church. House strictly private on Saturday morning please.
