Sheila Champion (née Marnell)
The death has occurred of Sheila Champion (née Marnell), Kimmage Road Lower, Dublin 6W and formerly of Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny, 25th June 2023, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. James’s Hospital; beloved wife of Barney, loving mum of Ronan, Cormac and Mark and a much loved ‘Super Gran’ of and Sarah Jane, Matthew, Madeleine, John, Lavinia and Martin. Sheila will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters-in-law Amanda, Mary and Maína, grandchildren, sisters Patricia and her twin Dorothy, sisters-in-law Pat and Barbara, brother-in-law Ray, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her home on Tuesday (27th June 2023) from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (28th June 2023) at 10am in Church of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome. Teresa Conway (née Foran)
The death has occurred of Teresa Conway (née Foran), Main Street, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Monday, 26th June 2023, aged 81 years. Peacefully, at University Hospital Waterford, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tom, parents Mike and Lena, brother Michael, sisters Joanie (Kearns) and Kitty (Reid). Teresa will be sadly missed by her daughter Jacqueline (Norris), sons Declan, Brendan, Thomas and Michael, son-in-law Jim, daughters-in-law Edrina, Josephine and Lynda, grandchildren James, Charlene, Jessica, Declan, Eric, Sarah, Dylan, Darragh, Cillian and Tom, great grandchildren Archie, Alife, Brody, Julia, Lilly and Éala, sisters Anna (Kearns), Mary (Hearne), Eiley (Holloway), Esther (Duggan), Betty (Walsh) and Marcie (Foran), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Teresa will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank, on Tuesday 27th June from 5pm until 7pm, Teresa's removal will take place on Wednesday 28th June walking from her home to The Church of the Assumption, Mooncoin, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in the old cemetery. Bridget Dunne (née Lawless)
The death has occurred of Bridget Dunne (née Lawless), 10 Kennyswell Road, Kilkenny City. Peacefully, in her 94th year, at her home in the loving care of her family on Monday, 26th June 2023. Predeceased by her loving husband Seán. Much loved mother of Jimmy, Breda, Mary and Johnny, adored Nanny to Alan, Michelle, Emma and Aoife, mother-in-law to Vincent and great grandmother to Jamie. Bridget will be sadly missed by Alan’s wife Gemma, Michelle’s husband John, Emma’s husband Jeff, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence, (Eircode R95 PAV9) on Tuesday, 27th June from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to St. Joseph’s Church, Foulkstown, for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning at 11am. Burial will follow afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Robert (Bobby) Maher
The death has occurred of Robert (Bobby) Maher, Smithstown, Thomastown, Kilkenny and formerly of Sugarstown, Dungarvan, Co. Kilkenny, peacefully in the loving care of Archersrath Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary and brother Paddy. Bobby will be sadly missed by his loving wife Sheila, brothers Jimmy, Willie, Tim, Tony Byrne and Mikey Wall, sister Maisie Waters, sons Brendan, Robert, Kevin and Vincent, daughters in law, Bernie, Gabrielle, Maria and Valerie, grandchildren Luke, Shane, Jessie, Keeley, Edie, Jimmy, Aoife and Lily Peg, nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at his residence from 4pm on Tuesday with Rosary and vigil prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 1pm in the Church of the Assumption Thomastown followed by burial in St Mary's New Cemetery Thomastown. House is private at other times please.
