The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Betty) Burke, Askinraw Drive, Suncroft, Kildare, formerly of The Curragh Camp and Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late John and mother of the late John, Michael, Peter, Mark and Bertina. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Brigid and Jackie, sons Joe and Jim, daughter in law Paula, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, brothers and sisters in law, nephews and nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McWeys funeral home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 4pm on Wednesday with Rosary at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Brigid’s Church, The Curragh, for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Cemetery, Suncroft. Mary O'Keeffe
The death has occurred of Mary O'Keeffe, Esker, Jenkinstown, Kilkenny, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Archersrath Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Patrick (1999) and mother of the late Loughlin (1989). Sadly missed by her loving daughters, Carmel and Dolores, and her sons, Tom, Pat, Jim, and Ger, her daughters-in-law, Mary, Shiela, May, Kerrie, and Margaret, her sons-in-law, Pa and Jim, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, to whom she was ever only known as Nanny.
Reposing at her home in Esker, R95 CK68, this Thursday from 3p.m. until 8p.m. with prayers at 8p.m. Mary's remains will arrive at St. Colman's Church, Conahy, R95 VK46, on Friday for requiem mass at 2p.m. followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Sandra Buckley (née Dowling)
The death has occurred of Sandra Buckley (née Dowling), Shankill, Paulstown, Kilkenny, formally of Green Road, Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow, on 3 September 2023 (peacefully) at University Hospital Waterford. Beloved wife of Tom, mother to Jack, Conor and Thomas. Sandra will be sadly missed by her loving husband and sons, parents John and Breda, brother Thomas, sisters in law, Michelle, Catriona and Marie, brothers in law Seamus, Brendan and Ned, her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home (Eircode R95 Y240) on Tuesday afternoon from 2pm, concluding with Funeral Prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in the Church of the Assumption Paulstown, followed by burial afterwards in the Holy Family Cemetery Paulstown. Family flowers only please. Dot Byrne
The death has occurred of Dot Byrne, Maryville, Castlecomer, Kilkenny, on 4 September, peacefully at Saint Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by her mother Maggie, and father Johnny. Dot will be sadly missed by her son Seán, daughter-in-law Mary, her special friend Teddy and her cousin Jimmy Byrne, wife Eileen and their family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer on Tuesday (5th September) from 4pm concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm. Reposing on Wednesday from 3pm with Funeral Prayers at 7pm followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11am followed by burial in the Crosshill Cemetery, Castlecomer.
