William (Bill) Sandall

The death has occurred of William (Bill) Sandall, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny. Unexpectedly. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Vicki, his daughter Jane, sons Mark and Peter, his grandchildren Noah, Eddie, Abi, Emily, Owen, Charlie, Benjamin, Lucy and Poppy, daughters-in-law Rachel and Elma, son-in-law Darrell, sister Gertrude, brother John and extended family.

House private please. Funeral arrangements later.

John Noel (Dentist) Power

The death has occurred of John Noel Power, B.D.S., N.U.I., D. Orth. R.C.S. (Eng), Ballyreddin Lodge, Bennettsbridge, Co Kilkenny and formerly of Kiltealy, Co Wexford. Noel passed away on October 9th 2023, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his infant son Aidan Michael, his brothers Richard, Fr Michael, Joseph and Leo, sisters Joan, Sr Stan and Eithne and niece Emer. Dearest husband of Eileen and wonderful father to Colm, Clodagh (McIntyre), Darrelle (Gaffney). Noel will be sadly missed by his loving family, daughter-in-law Dervla and sons-in-law TJ and Alan, by his cherished grandchildren Davin, Marcus, Donovan, Amelie and Aveline, his sisters-in-law Emily, Maura and Margaret and their husbands, his nephews and nieces and all his relatives and friends.

Reposing at Johnston's Funeral Home, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Thursday (12th October) from 6pm to 8pm pausing for Prayers at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass at 11am on Friday (13th) in St. Bennett's Church, Bennettsbridge followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery, Kilkenny. House private and family flowers only, please.

Hylda Finnegan

The death has occurred of Hylda Finnegan, late of Moss Cottage, Eshcol, Knocknacurra, Bandon, Co. Cork and Little Eden, Knocktopher, Co.Kilkenny. Hylda went home to be with the Lord on October 9th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, in the kind and tender care of the staff of Marymount Hospice, Curraheen, Cork. Predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Doreen Finnegan (née Mosse). Hylda  will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by her brothers Brian and Harold, sisters-in-law Paula and Ann, adored niece and nephews Sinead, Feilim and Rowan (England), her beloved aunt Berry (New Zealand), cousins Oliver, Tanya (Wales), Nicky, Keith (Australia), Paul, Sally (New Zealand) and Macrina (England), her extended family, all the Knocknacurra neighbours, her former colleagues at Scoil Eoin, Innishannon and her very wide circle of friends, young and old. Hylda will be especially missed and remembered with great affection by all the brothers and sisters at Eshcol Assembly, Knocknacurra, her beloved spiritual home for over forty years, and the many Christian friends all over the country and beyond to whom she was such an encouragement. 

Lying in repose in Gabriel & O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Castle Road, Bandon, Co. Cork, P72 WE20 on Friday (October 13th 2023) from 6pm to 7pm. Funeral Service in Westside Baptist Church, Old Chapel, Bandon, Co. Cork on Saturday (October 14th 2023) at 12 noon, followed by burial in Kilbeg Cemetery, Bandon, Co. Cork.

Simon Mark Fahy

The death has occurred of Simon Mark Fahy, late of Cedarwood Avenue, Loughboy, Kilkenny City, on October 6th 2023 (suddenly). Beloved son of Celina and Alan. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken mother, father, sister Sarah, brother Davie, stepfather John Joe, grandparents Birdy and Packie, aunts Elaine and Mary, nephews Kaylem and Harvey, niece Tori-Lee, stepsister Jackie, stepbrother Mark, cousin Dylan, extended family and friends. 

Simon's Funeral will take place privately for family and close friends only. House strictly private please.
