Seamus (Seamie) Kirwan
The death has occurred of Seamus (Seamie) Kirwan, Kilbricken, Callan, Kilkenny. Peacefully, in his 96th year on Wednesday, 25th October 2023 in the wonderful care of management and staff at Mooncoin Residential Care Centre. Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, brothers Michael, Martin, Peter and Seán and his sisters Margaret and Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving family, nieces, nephews, especially Dara and Linda, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Friday, 27th October, from 5.30pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Prayers on Saturday at 10.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan. Peter Mulhern
The death has occurred of Peter Mulhern, Bishop Birch Place, Kilkenny City and formerly of Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, died peacefully on Thursday 26th October 2023, in University Hospital Waterford, following a long illness, bravely fought in St. Luke’s Hospital Kilkenny. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and recently deceased son John. Peter will be deeply missed by his loving and caring family, his wife Maureen, sons Eddie, Jeff and Bryan, daughters Amanda, Marie and Lisa, sons-in-law P.J. and Sean, daughter-in-law Aine, his sister Mary, sisters-in-law Eimear and Zita, grandchildren Joey and Dylan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Laurence (Larry) Maher
The death has occurred of Laurence (Larry) Maher, Maine, U.S.A. formerly of Ballyline, Callan, Co. Kilkenny and Rossane, Cloneen, Co. Tipperary. Following a car accident in Maine on Tuesday, 24th October 2023. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his loving wife Elizabeth, his adored daughters Ciara, Ava and Saoirse, his loving parents Larry and Marie, sisters Breda (Kelly), Sinead (O’Shea) and Siobhán (Carrigan), grandfather Mickey Holden, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, parents-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, the extended Maher and Veroneau families and a wide circle of friends.
Larry's Funeral will take place in Maine, U.S.A. with arrangements to be announced later. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Ireland at a later date. Funeral Arrangements Later
