Billy (William) Dunne

The death has occurred of Billy (William) Dunne, 20 Norwood Park, Cobh and formerly of Skough, Co. Kilkenny. Unexpectedly but peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Mercy University Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen, much loved father of Ian, Noel, Dominic, Sonya, Michelle, Will & the late Jacqueline, loving granddad of Jack, Jane, Sally, Eoghan, James, Simon, Billy, Faye, Freddie, Ollie, Emily & the late Autumn. Billy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, brothers Jim, Patsy, Tom, Seanie & Gerry, sisters Audrey, Maura and Kathleen, sons-in-law Steven & Stewart, daughters- in-law Claire, Joanne, Michelle & Louise, brothers-in-law, sisters-in -law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.

Billy will repose at his home 20 Norwood Park P24D272 on Friday, December 1st, from 4.30pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Removal from his home on Saturday, December 2nd, at 11am to St. Colman’s Cathedral for 12 noon Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery. Billy’s Requiem Mass will be livestreamed on www.cobhcathedralparish.ie Family flowers only please.

Robert Newsome

The death has taken place of Robert Newsome, The Lodge, Barrettstown, Knocktopher and formerly of Rathnew, Co. Wicklow, peacefully at University Hospital Waterford, on 27th November 2023. Pre deceased by his parents Paddy and Agnes Newsome, sister Phyllis and brother Tom. Sadly missed by his wife Joan, son Robin, daughter Natasha, grandchildren Shelby, Theo, Fiacra, Finaly, Denzel and Zara, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Marie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in law, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Requiem mass on Thursday at 12pm in the Carmelite Friary, Knocktopher, Co. Kilkenny followed by burial in the Abbey Cemetery, Knocktopher Co. Kilkenny.  Robert's funeral mass can be viewed online at Ballyhale Parish Facebook page.
