Padhraig Hehir

The death has occurred of Padhraig Hehir, Outrath, Waterford Road, Kilkenny, on June 26, 2024, (unexpectedly). Predeceased by his loving mother Mary. Padhraig is sadly missed by his wife Sherin, daughters Sasha and Mary Kate, father Martin, brothers Gary and Nicholas, sisters Catherine and Marie, father-in-law Mohan Veera Kumar, mother-in-law Usha Mohan, sisters-in-law Bahara and Smitha Manisha, brothers-in-law Aiden, Emerson and Helder, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, his many loving cousins and friends.

Margaret (Peg) Coogan (née Daly)

The death has occurred of Margaret (Peg) Coogan (née Daly),  Firoda, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of Castlequarter, Ballybrophy, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, on June 27, 2024. Margaret passed away peacefully in St. Luke's General Hospital after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tom, sister Kay (Cork), brothers Martin (Laois) and Paddy (Wexford). Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons Seamus, Eamon and Thomas, grandchildren Jill, Molly, Shane, Tommy, Eve, James, Jack and Sam, daughters-in-law Brona, Cora and Anne, brothers, Sean (Cork), Fr. Peter (Dublin), Michael (Clare) and Fr. Joe (Dublin), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer, on Saturday, June 29, from 4pm concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm. Removal from her residence on Sunday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Margaret will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery. Keith Molloy

The death has occurred of Keith Molloy, 50 St. Francis Terrace, Kilkenny and formerly of Ardabawn, Tullaroan, Co. Kilkenny. Keith passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, following a long battle with illness, bravely fought with grace and dignity. Predeceased by his parents Pat and Sheila. Beloved brother of Anselm and Aleihs (Lawry). Keith will also be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Peter, aunts Joan Johnston and Betty Payne, niece, nephews and cousins in Ireland, Australia, England and Canada and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan for Requiem Mass on Friday, June 28, at 11am. A private Cremation Service will follow afterwards at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Carlow Kilkenny Home Care Team or The Irish Cancer Society. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live by clicking on the following link: CLICK HERE
