Ann Delaney

The death has occurred of Ann Delaney, St. Fiacre's Place, Kilkenny, on November 4, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital. Ann will be sadly missed by her loving children Keith, Katherine and Kenneth, brothers Marty and Liam, sister Patricia, grandchildren Ross, Gavan, Owen, Lauren and Mackenzie, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces especially Charlotte and Olivia, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home from 5pm on Wednesday, November 6, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 1.30pm in St. Patrick's Church followed by interment in Foulkstown Cemetery. House private at all other times please. Ann's Requiem Mass will be live streamed HERE

William (Willie) Ryan

The death has occurred of William (Willie) Ryan, Ballygorey, Mooncoin, Kilkenny / Waterford. Willie passed away peacefully on Monday surrounded by his loving family. Sadly missed by his loving wife Joan, daughter Rosie, sons John, Eddie and Billy, son-in-law Richard, daughter-in-law Cathy, grandchildren Leanne and her partner Shane, Ethan, Jack, Tom, Emma and Zoe, great grandchildren Oisin, Evie and Orlaith, brothers Tommy and Paddy, sister Kathleen, brother-in-law Pascal, sisters-in-law Marion and Breda, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Thursday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 4pm until 7pm. Arriving on Friday at St. Kevin’s Church Carrigeen (via his residence) for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

Gerry Carroll

The death has occurred of Gerry Carroll, Grange Heights, Waterford, and formerly of Narabane, Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny. Gerry passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Oak Ward UHW on Monday, November 4,  2024.Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Bridie Carroll, brother Dominic and sister Mary. Sadly missed by his loving wife Catherine, his son Fergal, daughter Martina, son-in-law Simon, his adoring granddaughters Chloe, Molly and Saoirse, he will be fondly remembered by his stepchildren Laura and Tony and their children Charlotte, Alex, Nathan, Robyn, and Dylan, his brothers Sean, Seamus, Patrick, Brian, Brendan and his sister Bernadette, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday, November 6, in St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow at 11am, immediately afterwards Gerry will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. Michael (Mick) Cody

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) CodyCastleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Kells, Co. Kilkenny), on November 2, 2024 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Cappagh Hospital. Beloved husband of the recently deceased Teresa and much-loved father of Ger and Catherine and Dublin Dad to Bee. Dear brother of the late Kitty. Sadly missed by his loving daughters, grandchildren Zoe and Sophie, sons-in-law Peter and Richard, brother Tom, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Blanchardstown on Thursday, November 7, between 5pm and 7pm. Removal on Friday morning, November 8, to St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery. Richard Griffith

The death has occurred of Richard (Dick) Griffith, Raheny and formerly of Kilkenny City, who died on  November 3, 2024, peacefully in the wonderful care of staff at Care Choice Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Catherine, and loving father of Gillian and Olwen. Richard will be deeply missed by his loving family, treasured grandchildren Katie and Nina, daughter-in-law Dee, brothers-in-law Pat and David, sisters-in-law Joana and Margaret, extended family, friends, and neighbours.

Removal on Wednesday morning to, Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church, Raheny, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by burial in Danesfort Cemetery, County Kilkenny.
