Funeral details confirmed for Laois mother of two

The funeral details have been confirmed for a beautiful Kilkenny mother-of-two.

Fiona Booth (nee Bradford) of Huntingdon Lodge, Gowran, Kilkenny and formerly of Mountmellick, Laois, died unexpectedly on February 9. She will be laid to rest in her adopted county Kilkenny. 

Fiona is the beloved wife of Robert Booth, from Coolbanagher, Emo, and the cherished Mum of Conor and Emily.

Fiona will be deeply missed by her heartbroken husband and children, mother Margaret, brother Robert, parents-in-law Patrick and Julia Booth (Coolbanagher, Emo, Portlaoise), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends

She was predeceased by her father Anthony Bradford.

In a message on her RIP.ie funeral notice, the family thank all who supported them in recent days. 

"Fiona's family would like to thank in a special the members of An Garda Síochána, the Civil Defence, Kilkenny Sub Aqua and all others who helped and supported them during the past few days."

There has been an outpouring of sympathy and tributes to Fiona following the tragedy. 

Fiona's remains will repose in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Wednesday, February 12 from 5pm to 8pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in St Colman's Church, Clara, Kilkenny (R95K290). Interment takes place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
