The death has occurred of Mary Brophy Moore, of 40 Monacurragh, Carlow and Kent, England and formerly of Redhill, Ballyroan, Co Laois, and Ballyragget, Kilkenny, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on May 10, 2025, at her home in Carlow. Beloved wife of Liam, cherished sister of Kathleen, Lizzie, Margaret, Ned, Eileen, Ann and the late Judy and John and treasured daughter of the late Paddy and Kit Moore. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Square (Eircode R93 C863) on Monday, May 12, from 4pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening. Removal on Tuesday at 12 Noon to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyraggat, Co Kilkenny to arrive for Funeral Mass at 1pm. A private cremation will then take place at a later date. No flowers please. The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kitty) Moore (née Saunders), Ballyconra, Ballyragget, Kilkenny. She died peacefully on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Tony and son John. Deeply regretted by her sons Bill and Tony and her daughter Maria. Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Esther and Avril, grandchildren Rory, Liam, Orla and Alice, nieces, nephews, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Removal from her home on Monday morning, May 12, to St. Brigid's Church, Lisdowney, for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Aharney Cemetery, Lisdowney.
The death has occurred of William (Willie) Walsh, Ballyquirke, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of St. Joseph's Road, Kilkenny. Willie passed away, unexpectedly, on May 9, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved mother Biddy. Willie will be deeply missed by his heartbroken wife Regina and son Joshua, his father Liam, sister Regina, brothers Jonathan, Nicky, Wayne, Keith and David, mother-in-law Liz (Cleere), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his father Liam's home, 4 Nuncio Park, Kilkenny (R95CV9X) on Tuesday, May 13, from 4pm to 7pm with Prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Canice's Church, Kilkenny. Funeral afterwards to St. Kieran's Cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed HERE
