James (Jimmy) Walsh

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Walsh, Ballinclare, Glenmore, Co. Kilkenny, on May 18, 2025. Formerly of Paddy Browne’s Road and Ozier Park, Waterford. Late of Jimmy Walsh & Associates. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret, sisters Mary, Pat and Lena, brother Christy. Sadly missed by his wife Mary, sons Ken and James, daughters Cathriona, Louise and Olivia, daughters-in-law Jane and Susie, sons-in-law Tony, Derek and John, grandchildren Megan, Conor, Saoirse, Darragh, Clodagh, Thomas, Matthew, Killian and Hannah, brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Wednesday, May 21, from 3pm to 5pm with a Celebration of Life service at 4pm. Jimmy's cremation will take place on Thursday, May 22, at 1pm in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork. Cremation Service will be live streamed at 1pm on Thursday by following the Funeral Service link: https://www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/ No flowers only please, donations if desired to MS Ireland

 

Michael Marlow

The death has occurred of Michael Marlow of Garryduff, Paulstown formally of Saffron Walden and Chelmsford in Essex, who died Friday, May 16, at St Luke’s Hospital. He leaves his loving wife Mary, sons Paul and Nigel, brother Tony and step-daughter Lisa. Predeceased by his stepson Karl in March this year. Sadly missed by his grandsons Ryan and Ben and daughter-in-law Natalia.

Funeral service will take place in St. Mary’s Church Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow on Friday, May 23, at 12 noon.

 

Joan Barry (née Fitzgerald)

The death has occurred of Joan Barry (née Fitzgerald), 13 St. Patrick's Close, Kilkenny and formerly of Crohane, Killenaule, Co. Tipperary. Joan passed away on May 18, 2025, unexpectedly, at her home. Predeceased by her darling son Jonathan. Beloved wife of Paddy and much loved mother of Debbie, Andrew, Linda, Graham and Alison. Joan will be dearly missed by her loving family, sister Frances (Culleton), son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Helena, grandchildren Dayna, Brandon, Isaac and Brianne, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home in St. Patrick's Close (R95FD7P) on Wednesday, May 21, from 4pm to 7pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Patrick's Church, Kilkenny. Funeral afterwards to the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin for Service at 2.30pm. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed HERE
