The death has occurred of William (Billy) Wise, "Crannagh", Bishops Hill, Kilkenny (founder member of Kilkenny Sub-Aqua Club and late of Smithwicks Brewery). Billy passed away on July 25, 2025, peacefully, at home surrounded by family. Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Nora. Beloved husband of Ena and much loved father of Austin (Algie), Noreen, Liz, Corabh, James (Jessie) and Jerry. Billy will be sadly missed by his loving family, brothers John and Jimmy, sisters Margo and Linda, sons-in-law Patrick and Martin, daughters-in-law Anne Marie, Ellen and Michelle, grandchildren Eli, Dara, Bobby, Jessica, Billy, Evan, Rebecca, Katie, Jack, Annabele, Caramia and Logan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pakie) Reddy, Skeard, Kilmacow, Kilkenny / Waterford. Aged 91 years. Pakie passed away peacefully at Mooncoin Residential Care Centre, in the loving presence of his family. Predeceased by his wife Christina, parents Margaret and Edward, sister Mai, brothers James, Michael, Thomas and Edward, brothers-in-law Jim Barron and Paddy Phelan. Sadly missed by his daughters Margaret, Patricia and Esther, sons-in-law Eamonn, Kevin and Alan, grandchildren Rachel, Mary, Noah, Eabha, Ella, Danielle, Devin, Grace, Leah and Eamonn, sisters Margaret (Phelan) and Teresa (Barron), sister-in-law Margaret (Reddy), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.

The death has occurred of Leo Norris, San Bernardino, California and formerly of Woolengrange, Bennettsbridge, Kilkenny. Leo passed away peacefully at his home in Upland, CA, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. Leo was born in Woolengrange, Bennettsbridge, County Kilkenny, on January 16, 1942, the son of Edward and Mary Norris. Raised in Ireland, he then moved to the United States in 1975. Married June 21, 1980, to Elizabeth Merki, they moved to Upland, California, and had three children: Sean Norris, Kathleen Norris, and Mary Norris. He was the proud Opa (grandfather) of Kayla Norris, daughter of Sean Norris and Amy Laws. He was loved by many and will be missed. Leo is preceded by his parents: Edward and Mary Norris; sister Mary Lyng and brothers: Thomas, Terence, Edward, Michael, and James Norris. Leo is sadly missed by his wife Elizabeth Norris; son: Sean Norris and his wife Amy; daughters: Kathleen Norris and Mary Norris; Grandchild: Kayla Norris and siblings: John Norris and Catherine Finnegan.
Memorial Services will be July 29, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2110 N San Antonio Avenue, Upland, CA 91784. Rosary at 10am. Mass at 10.30am -11.30am

Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, his brothers Timothy, Patrick, James and Michael and sister Margaret. Deeply regretted by his beloved wife Marian (O'Gorman), much-loved children Pat, Louise and Eoin, son-in-law Keith (Grant), daughters-in-law Anna (Cuthbert) and Majella (Gleeson), adored grandchildren Cillian, Cian, Niamh, Paídí, Andrew, Breena and Michael, sisters Patsy (Power) Mamie (Cleere) and Anne (Hughes), aunt Annie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at Kennedy's Funeral Home Freshford, R95 C44T, on Monday, July 28, from 6.30pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 29, at 12pm at St. Lachtain's Church, R95 K003. Burial afterwards in St. Lachtain's Cemetery. Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of Mary (May) Forristal, Tirellan Heights, Galway and formerly of Jerpoint Church, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. May passed away on July 26, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by family and in the care of the staff of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. May will be sadly missed by her sister, Nan Collins (Carlow), numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. May is pre-deceased by her parents William and Kathleen, brothers Edmund, Joe, Larry, Liam and sisters Eilis, Gretta and Kathleen.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Monday, July 28, from 5.30pm to 7pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. The death has occurred of Pat Duggan, Scart, Mullinavat, Co. Kilkenny, who died on Saturday, July26, 2025, aged 91 years. Peacefully in the tender care of his loving family and all the staff at Mooncoin Residential Care Centre, Predeceased by his parents Tom and Bridie, brother Jim, sisters Eileen and Peggy. Pat will be sadly missed by brother Billy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
