The death has occurred of Daniel (Dan) Heffernan, Kilkenny City, Dunnamaggin, Kilkenny. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel (Dan) Heffernan, of Amelia Island, Florida, USA, and Kilkenny City, formerly of Caherleske, Dunamaggin, Co. Kilkenny, who died on July 26, 2025. Daniel was predeceased by his wife Lisa Heffernan, his parents William and Philomena Heffernan and his sister Frances. He will be deeply missed by his sister Vicky, his brother Bill and Daniel’s partner Julie, his daughter Leah Heffernan, as well as his nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Pat, extended family and his many friends in the USA and Kilkenny.
A private cremation service will take place in the USA at a later date.
The death has occurred of Linda O'Keeffe, Mullinoly, Mullinahone, Tipperary / Kilkenny City, Kilkenny. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda O' Keeffe Roseville, Callan Road, Kilkenny / Mullinoly, Mullinahone, Thurles, Co. Tipperary July 28, 2025 peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Roseville (Auora) surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her father Tom brother Eamon and nephew Thomas. Deeply regretted by her loving mother Josie, sisters Miriam, Carmel and Sandra brothers-in-law Noel, Michael and Noel nieces Ciara, Orla, Lucy and Eimear nephews Darragh, Donnacha, Ollie and Aidan aunts, uncles, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in Brett's Funeral Home, Mullinahone (E41EV78) on Wednesday, July 30, from 6pm with prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, July 31, in St Michael's Church, Mullinahone at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards in St Michael's Cemetery, Killaghy, Mullinahone. The death has occurred of Peggy Roche, Isle of Man, UK and formerly of Mellow’s Park, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, at Noble’s Hospital, Isle of Man on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Pre-deceased by her husband John Philips, her parents Molly and Paul and her brothers Dick, Johnny and Michael. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her sons Brendan and John, her daughters Marie, Kathleen and Paula, brothers Paddy, Seamus, Liam and Paul, sisters Tessie, Kitty, Ellen, Nan, Beryl and Patsy, sons-in-law Tony and Stephen, daughter-in-law Gabby, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
A Memorial Mass will take place in The Church of the Assumption, Callan on Thursday, July 31, at 11am. Burial of Ashes will follow afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Green Street, Callan. The Requiem Mass can be viewed live on the following link; churchmedia.ie (Callan Parish).
The death has occurred of Adrian Rouiller, late of Dundrum, Dublin, and formerly of Thomastown, Kilkenny, a retired member of AIB, passed away peacefully on July 27, surrounded by his loving family in the care of the wonderful staff of Gascoigne House Nursing Home. Father of Erika, Peter and Evie; Adrian will be sadly missed by his children, their mother Breda, sons-in-law Seamus and Andrew, his grandchildren Niall and Laura, his brother Jerome, sisters Jakki and Trish, his dear friend Lucy, his nieces and nephews and all his extended family and friends.
By his wish, Adrian’s body will be donated to the Royal College of Surgeons for medical science.
