Hazel Hennessy
The death has taken place Hazel Hennessy, 37 Collins Park, Callan, Kilkenny.

Unexpectedly, but peacefully at Mount Carmel Home, Callan, Kilkenny on Tuesday, August 5. Pre-deceased by her parents Brigid and Sonny, her sister Joan and her brother Oliver. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her brothers Joseph and Noel and her twin brother Patrick, her nephews William, Declan, Robert and Owen, her cousin Linda, relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral arrangements later.

Christopher (Chris) Carey
The death has occurred of Christopher (Chris) Carey, Westcourt, Callan,  Kilkenny and formerly of Green Street, Callan. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday,  August 4.

Predeceased by his parents, Annie (née Kinevane) and Chris and his sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Doherty. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his wife, Patricia (née Guiry), daughters, Jane and Shauna (Harraghy), son-in-law, Cormac, brothers, Joe, John and Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence (Eircode R95 E2P1) on Wednesday, August 6, from 4pm, concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Callan (Eircode R95 VK82), for Requiem Mass on Thursday, August 7, at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery Callan. House private, please, on Thursday morning. For those who would like to view the Funeral Mass, it can be accessed via the Callan Catholic Church website.
