The death has occurred of Baby Noah Murphy, Ballinaraha South, Mullinavat, Co. Kilkenny, and Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Born Thursday, August 14, 2025. Fell asleep forever in the arms of his heartbroken parents Emma (Hennessy) and James (Murphy) on Thursday, August 14, 2025 in The National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, Dublin. Forever loved and missed by his parents Emma and James, his brothers Jamie and Tadhg, his sister Mia, grandparents Helen and Michael Hennessy, Jimmy and Philomena Murphy, uncle Niall, aunts Amy, Jean, Eleanor, Christine and Marie, cousins Alfie, Taylor, Tommy, Annie, Harper and Sonny.
A private funeral service and burial will take place in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan on Saturday, August 16, 2025. The family would like to express their sincere tanks and gratitude to Patricia and Debbie, St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and the fetal midwives and consultants at the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street, Dublin for their incredible care and compassion over the last few weeks.
The death has occurred of Michael Leahy, Mill Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, at Tinnypark Nursing Home, Kilkenny on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Pre-deceased by his parents Mortimer and Josephine, his sister Joan and his brother Morty. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers John and Paul, his sister Alma (Collins), sister-in-law Oonagh, brothers-in-law Richie and Tom, Angela, aunts Lucy (Donovan) and Molly Coughlan (Birmingham), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Saturday, August 16, from 10 am. Funeral Prayers at 10.30am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan. The death has occurred of Louise (Mary) Paton (ṅée Cranley) , 19 Lagan Grange, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of Bray, Co. Wicklow, peacefully at her residence. Predeceased by Granny Vera (Nanny). Sadly missed by her husband Mark, stepson Daniel, stepdaughter Casey, mother Eileen, brothers and sister, grandson Eli, extended family and many many friends.

Carlow and formerly Goresbridge, Co Kilkenny, who passed away peacefully, in his 86th year after a short illness, on August 13, 2025, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Nan) and much loved father of Patricia, Tony and Brendan. He will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, son-in-law Niall, Brendan’s partner Claire, extended family, relatives, good neighbours and friends

Removal on Saturday at 10.30a.m. to St Fintan’s Church, Ballinabranna, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Jerry (Jeremiah) Nolan of Baurnafea, Castlewarren, Co. Kilkenny, and London, U.K. who passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on August 8, 2025. Beloved husband of Kathleen, much loved father of Mary and Gerry, dearly held grandfather of Jack, Tom, Lily, Ben and Holly, cherished brother of the late Nora, late Martin, Dick, Tommy, Bridget and Mary. The death has occurred of Elizabeth Noonan (née Murphy) Knockphunta Park, Castlebar, Mayo and formerly of Windgap and Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, at Queen of Peace Nursing Home, Knock, Co. Mayo on Friday, July 4, 2025. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughter Mary, her son-in-law Ian, her granddaughters Clare and Ciara and their partners Max and Liam, her great granddaughter Amelie and her great grandson Xander, her sister Mary, her brother Laurence, nieces, nephews and especially her niece Mai, neighbours and friends and Máire and Martina.
A Months Mind Mass will take place in St. Nicholas’ Church, Windgap, Co. Kilkenny on Saturday, August 16, at 7.15pm. Burial of Ashes will follow afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
