Tom Ryan

The death has occurred of Tom Ryan, Colliery Close, Clogh, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Crettyard, on September 14, 2025. In the loving care of the staff of St. Michael's Ward, St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown surrounded by his family. Pre-deceased by his parents George and Tess Ryan. Tom will be sadly missed by Alice, daughter Marsha, son Keith, grandchildren Laura and Nathan, brothers Stephen, Paddy and Aidan, sisters Mary, Freda and Margaret, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer from 4pm on Tuesday, September 16, concluding with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral cortege arriving to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Moneenroe on Wednesday for Requiem Mass at 12 Noon. Tom will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery.

Cillian Cunningham

The death has occurred of Cillian Cunningham, Lios Dubh, Armagh Road, Dundalk, Louth / Kilkenny City, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his nanny Sally Cunningham and aunties Olivia and Mary McKeown. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken mam Linda and stepfather Damien, his adoring partner Sarah and their three sons Kayden, Mason and Theo, sisters Nadine, Hayley, Cailín and Tiernagh and brother Conal, grandparents Peter Cunningham and Dermot and Kathleen McKeown, father Kenneth Cunningham, Nadine’s partner Conor, Conal’s partner Amelia, his aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the family home, 105 Lios Dubh (A91 AYP9) on  Monday, September  15, from 3pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday, September 16, to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church (A91 WY98), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castletown (Fatima) (A91 EK77). Agnes Keoghan (née O'Shea)

The death has occurred of Agnes Keoghan (née O'Shea), Liss, Tullaroan, Kilkenny, R95 NP74 / Freshford, Kilkenny. Agnes passed away suddenly and peacefully at her residence. Pre-deceased by her husband John and her brothers Paddy, Seán and Brendan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, sons Frank and Liam, daughters Catherine, Oonagh and Eithne, her adored grandchildren Richard, Eimear, Stephen, Jack, Martin, Sinéad, Grace, Edward, Marc and Cian, daughters-in-law Mary and Breda, sons-in-law Pat and Paul, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her residence on Monday, September 15, from 2pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm followed by removal to the Church of the Assumption, Tullaroan, R95 CC99. Requiem Mass Tuesday, September 16, at 11am, Burial afterwards in Tullaroan Cemetery.

Clifford (Cliff) Williamson

The death has occurred of  Clifford (Cliff) Williamson, Clontubrid, Freshford, Co. Kilkenny, and formerly of The Old Schoolhouse, Jenkinstown and Manchester UK. Cliff passed away on September 11, 2025, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. Beloved husband of the late Maureen (née Campbell) and much loved father of Susan (Keohane), Wendy (Sheldrick) and Michael. Cliff will be dearly missed by his loving family, sister Marjorie (Agnew), sons-in-law Jer and Matthew, grandchildren Tom, Joe, Aisling, Jimmy, Joe, Scarlett and Willow, great grandchildren Billy, Daisy, Georgie and Ankur, nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. Cliff's family would like to thank in a special way the staff at Kilkenny Care Centre, Newpark and St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny for the care and kindness shown to their Dad during his time spent with them.

Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Foulkstown, Kilkenny. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
