Anna May (May) Delaney (née Doyle)

The death has occurred of Anna May (May) Delaney (née Doyle), Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Carrigduff, Bunclody, Co. Wexford. Anna May passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Columba's Hospital, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny surrounded by her four devoted children on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents Matthew and Bridget, brothers John and Joseph (infant). Anna May will be sadly missed by her children, Seamus, Fidelma, Rosaleen and Padhraic, sons-in-law Fintan and Kevin, daughter-in-law Therese, her grandchildren Oisín, Emma, Darragh, Shay, Sadie, Lara and Reyna, her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Walsh's Funeral Home, Graignamanagh (Eircode R95 D853) from 2pm on Thursday, February 12, concluding with prayers at 6.45pm. Removal on Friday morning to arrive at Duiske Abbey for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in Calvary cemetery, Graignamanagh. CLICK HERE TO VIEW REQUIEM MASS Anna May's family would like to thank the staff of St. Columba's Hospital for their compassion, kindness and wonderful care during her stay. Eamon Walsh

The death has occurred of Eamon Walsh, New Zealand and late of Lord Edward Street, Kilkenny, on February 5, 2026, in New Zealand. Eamon will be sadly missed by his wife Linda, his children Kate, Ciara, Liam and Josie, grandchildren, sister Kitty (Rhatigan, Kilkenny), brothers Mick (Newbridge), Seamus (Shropshire) and Pat (Kilkenny), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Eamon's funeral took place in New Zealand.

Angela Teehan (née Kelly)

The death has occurred of Angela Teehan (née Kelly), Berkley Lawn, Thomastown, Kilkenny, late of Killarney, Thomastown and Kilcreene, Kilkenny. Angela passed away on February 9, 2026, peacefully, with her family by her side, in the wonderful care of the staff on the Barrow Ward in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Sadly missed by her loving husband Ted, daughter Lucy, sons Niall and Joe, grandchildren Saoirse, Nessa and Isaac, daughters-in-law Denise and Sarah, son-in-law Brian, nieces, nephews, extended family, good neighbours, friends and carers. Predeceased by her sisters Breda, Margaret and Kathleen, brothers Liam, Tony, Ted, Gerard, Michael, Tim and Frank.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Wednesday, February 11, from 5pm to 7pm with Prayers recited at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in St. Kieran’s Church, Tullaherin, Co. Kilkenny (R95 X970) followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Friends of St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Donation box in Funeral Home and church porch.

Rev. Canon Laurence Dunphy

The death has occurred of Rev. Canon Laurence Dunphy in his 90 year, retired P.P. of Urlingford and Graine, Co. Kilkenny in the kind and loving care of staff of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home Crosspatrick. Native of Bunlacken, Cullohill, Co. Laois, previously served in Killasmeestia, Camross, St. John's Kilkenny and Glenmore parishes. Predeceased by his brothers Liam, Jim, Mick, Paddy, John and Kieran, his sisters Sheila, Mary, Kathleen, Nancy and Agnes, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Deeply regretted by his 42 nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sisters-in-law Annette, Marette, Breeda and Mary, cousins, extended family his many friends and parishioners and the priests of the diocese of Ossory.

Reposing in St. Patrick's Church, Graine on Wednesday, February 11, from 6pm until 8pm and the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford on Thursday, February 12, from 5pm until 8pm concluding with prayers both evenings. Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. Patrick (Paddy) Brennan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Brennan, "Paddy's Country Pub", Flagmount, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny. Paddy passed away on February 8, 2026, unexpectedly at his partner Irenee's home in Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Beloved father of Sinead and Tony. Paddy will be dearly missed by his loving family, his devoted partner Irenee, brother Davy, sisters Trish and Angela, son-in-law Mark, daughter-in-law Phil, his adored grandchildren Oliver, Eve, Aiden and Bobby, sisters-in-law Mai and Maeve, brothers-in-law Mattie, Tom and Michael, nephews, nieces, extended family, loyal neighbours and customers and a wide circle of friends. Paddy is predeceased by his siblings John Joe, Moira, Tom, Nuala and Gen.
