Barry Teehan

The death has occurred of Barry Teehan, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and formerly of Kilkenny City, Kilmuckridge, Co. Wexford and Shannonbridge, Co. Offaly. Barry passed away peacefully on Sunday evening (March 8) in the Olvg Oost Hospital in Amsterdam, surrounded by his brother and two sisters. Predeceased by his parents Tony and Maisie. Barry will fondly remembered and dearly missed by his brother Gerard and sisters Myra and Oonagh, his niece and nephew, brother-in-law Kevin, Gerard's partner Sheena and her two daughters, Oonagh's partner Tommy, aunts, uncles, cousins and his many wonderful friends across Amsterdam, Ireland and USA.

Barry's funeral will take place in The Netherlands in the coming days.

Anne O'Sullivan (née Doyle)

The death has occurred of Anne O'Sullivan (née Doyle) Millbanks Grove, Rosbercon, New Ross, Co. Wexford,  March 8, 2026. Anne, peacefully at W.R.H after a short illness. Beloved wife of Tom, much loved mother of David, Deborah, Orla and Thomas. Loved and remembered always by her grandchildren Colum, Gary, Freya, Ruairí, Patrick, Ella, Aoife, Grace, Noah, Effie and Indie, sons-in-law Niall and John, daughters-in-law Frances & Daniela, brothers Pascal, Paul and Declan, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Anne is predeceased by her sister Rosemary and brother Jimmy.

Reposing in Doyle's Funeral Home The Old Rectory, Rosbercon, New Ross from 4pm on Tuesday, March 10, concluding at 7pm. Removal will take from Doyle's Funeral Home at 12.noon to arrive at The Church Of The Assumption Rosbercon for 12.30pm Requiem Mass on Wednesday 11th March followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery. Mass can be viewed on: https://rosberconparish.ie/ Family flowers only please. Please wear a flower / bright colours in memory of Anne's love of life. 

Catherine Mullins (née Brennan)

The death has occurred of Catherine Mullins (née Brennan), of Glenatlucky, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork and formerly of Ballyhemon, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness which she fought bravely, in the tender care of the exceptional staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Edward Brennan and her infant son, Shane. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband, Pat, children, Sabina and Pádraic, grandson, Rían, son- in- law, Tom Henchy, daughter-in-law, Eleanor Power, Sisters, Mary Maher, Olive Doheny and Gretta Power, brothers, Paddy, Martin, Noel, Leo, and Canice, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and the extended Brennan and Mullins families, her friends, neighbours and colleagues in both Moorpark and St Vincent de Paul, Mitchelstown.

Reposing at The Chapel of Rest, Baldwin Street, Mitchelstown, P67 DX81 on Wednesday, March 11, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place in The Church of Our Lady Conceived Without Sin, Mitchelstown, P67 FT73 on Thursday, March 12, at 12pm. Followed by burial in the church yard cemetery. For those who cannot attend, the Mass can be viewed live via webcam https://www.churchservices.tv/mitchelstown. Family flowers only please, donations to St Vincent de Paul, Mitchelstown.

Mona Dunne (née Reid)

The death has occurred of Mona Dunne (née Reid), Tifeaghna, Freshford, Kilkenny / Dublin. Mona died peacefully surrounded by her loving family in St. Luke's General Hospital, Kilkenny. Pre-deceased by her husband Stephen and sisters Frances and Stephanie. Deeply regretted by her daughters Fiona (Perry), Sarah-Ann (Brenner) and Monica, son Stephen, grandchildren Stevie, Eoin, Killian, Anna, Lucy, Emily, Evan, Andrew and Mia, sons-in-law Hugh (Perry) and Johnny (Brenner), daughter-in-law Deirdre (Little), sister Eva (Brennan) and brother John, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends

Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home Freshford (R95 C44T) on Tuesday, March 10, from 6pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 11, in St Fiachra's Church, Clontubrid (R95 Y627)at 2pm. Burial afterwards in Tifeaghna Cemetery. The family would like to thank all her carers, especially Tess and the staff of Kilkenny Care Centre, St Luke's Hospital and Freshford Health Centre for all their kindness.

Francis (Frank) Doheny

The death has occurred of Francis (Frank) Doheny, Circular Road, Kilkenny, and formerly of Ballyrafton, Jenkinstown. Frank passed away on March 8, 2026, unexpectedly and peacefully at his home. Beloved husband of Rose (née O'Keeffe) and much loved father of Ria and Francis. Frank will be dearly missed by his loving family, sister Phyllis, sister-in-law Noreen, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Tuesday, March 10, from 5pm to 7pm. Committal Service will take place in St. Kieran's Cemetery at 12noon on Wednesday, March 11. House is private please.
